Ultrastuds Triple Playground


My journey began back in 2004, after a break from snowmobiling (ex-wife, divorce, long BORING story) when my girlfriend and I decieded to get back with the program! Our first step was to purchase a 93 XLT for her, we bought the sled from Northland Dairy (the POO dealer in Eagle Bend MN) the sled had been the dealers' wifes sled since brand new, it was in MINT condition, having been dealer serviced since day one and always stored inside it was a great buy at $1100.00, the next order of business was finding a sled for myself, it had to HIGH H.P and it had to be a TRIPLE!! My first sled of choice was a 600 XCR, but not being able to find one that wasn't completely beat into the ground, I switched gears and started looking for a 700 XCR, it would've been easier to find a virgin in a whorehouse, there were none to be found, so then it occured to me, GO BIG OR GO HOME!! My last hope was to find an 800 XCR!! My hopes were soon dashed when I saw the price tag, so one day while I was snooping around at Bristows in St. Cloud I came across a little "diamond in the rough" sitting in the back corner of the showroom, a 97 Ultra SP, bone stock and in beautiful shape, $2100.00 later she was in the back of my truck, headed home.. My thoughts quickly turned to modifying my little gem and so the jouney began...
