1/20/05 I found out the mag cylinder had started peeling nicasil so I tore it all apart, sent the cylinders away and brought most of the sled with me to school that weekend. I got it almost all back together 2/4/05 when I figured out I had left the exhaust manifold at home. That seriously sucked because I was planning on doing a cross country race the next morning. Oh well, fedex should be bringing it tomorrow and I'll be ready to rock..with any luck!!

I currently own a 2001 SkiDoo MXZX 440 L/C. I got the sled at the end of the 03/04 season by trading my old cr125 race bike even-up with a guy in Minnesota. I had a 97 xc440 at the time but the suspension and motor just weren't capable of taking the abuse the motocrosser in me gave the little machine. So now I've got a sno-x sled that takes just about anything I throw at it.

This is what it looked like when I got it. It was fairly clean except for the rear corner of the hood being smashed, a nice crack in the bellypan and a few other blemishes.



Being the freak I am and wanting to rid my new toy of blemishes, and add pimpness, I found a buncha parts for it over the summer. I started off finding a mint hood from an 02 mxzx440 and a brand new belly. Other parts I got were a speedo, speedo cable, handguards, rear flap and an oil injection set-up...gogo ebay!!
