OK, so heres my truck. A 1966 Chevy C-10 truck. It has a 4.1 Liter 250 strait 6 engine. My grandpa gave me the truack when I was 10 years old, which would mean I own it for 5 years now. He bought the truck in 1983 and drove it for 14 years. He also put 200000 miles on it. Some little changes he made were moving the 3 spd shifter to the floor, and taking out the bench seat and putting in two bucket seats. He parked the truck in May 1997, because the clutch was birnt up, and he is a truck driver, so he had no time to fix it. As I got older I started playing with the truck in the back yard, moving the shifter playing with the knobs, that sort of stuff. My grandpa came up with the idea to get it running. So he told me one day in 2001 that we were going to get it running. he dumped some gas in the carb, she started right up, and stalled. Then he cleaned the plugs, re-set the points, dumped more gas in the carb, and she fired up and stayed running. Ever Since I have got it started I did not do too much work to it. I've painted it lots of times, which I am sorry for now, because I have to shave all 20 coats of paint off. I also gave it a tune-up and changed the oil. Since I've got it running I've broken the following: Turn signal, air horn, headlight switch, brake line, and watched the bed fall through. Now that I relieze that I have made the truck worse than when I got it I am actually going to start work. Right before winter came, I took of the door panels,, and all the little inside stuff. i tried to take off the fenders, but the first snow-storm came so I stopped working on it and started sleddin again. Now I'm getting ready to take the bed off and start the short restoration. I will keep updated pics

This is what the truck looked like the first time I sprayed it. I didnt sand to well and by next spring my hood was peeling.
Here's a pic of it now, You can see the bizillion differnt colors I'm trying to strip
Heres the rear-end of the truck....
This cancer is on the passenger side fender. There was one identical to it on the driver side too, but I decided to buy all new fenders
This is the inside of the truck, as you can see it is a mess. I have the door panels off, because the windows do not crank properly whereas I would like to get that fixed.
Here is my guage cluater, I'm not very happy with the digital lights, because I can not see the exact temp of the engine, and how much oil pressure i have, and if my alternator is working.
There is part of the 250. Very old and rusty.....But hey, with 450000 miles on it, I'd look like that too!
Heres the other side, I'm gonna drive it with this engine until I get some money, and then drop in a 327 or a 350
And there are my air horns. I am also going to purchase the air horns that sound like the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard
I will keep updated pics
