My Winter Toys
[purple]SLEDS:[/purple]

I currently own three sleds.

My primary rides are a 1989 Polaris Indy 650 and a 1996 Polaris Ultra SP.

My backup sled is a 1994 Polaris XLT Special.

I purchased the Indy 650 from a kid in Illinois who apparently didn't know where the brake lever was. The front nose cone was pushed down, the bellypan was dented in pretty good, there was a bent tie rod, the front shocks were long gone, and the windshield looked like it was stitched together by my dog. It was cheap and I intended to just bring it back to stock condition.

The XLT Special was purchased from a guy in Minnesota via ebay. It appeared to be a pretty sound sled with about 4500 miles on it. Sled has the Fox shocks all the way around and rides pretty well for a sled of its age. Unfortunately, it has nickel and dimed me and I'm now looking to part ways with the little guy.

I purchased the Ultra from a guy just north of Minneapolis. It's in very clean shape and currently has over 6,000 miles on it.
