Primary

Had the clutching that came with the sled when I bought it.

Engaged about 4200 RPM, and topped out at 8200. Really had a solid pull until 6000 RPM's then it really got into the powerband and took off.

Primary:
Weights-10AL
Spring-Polaris Blue

Secondary:
Helix-36 Degree
Spring-Polaris Maroon (2nd Hole)

Changed Helix.

Engaged at 4200 RPM and maxed out at 7800. Bogged bad between 5000 and 6000 RPM, once it hit 6000 it really took off, hard to hook it up though.

Primary:
Weights-10AL
Spring-Polaris Blue

Secondary:
Helix-42/34
Spring-Maroon (2nd Hole)

Changed Secondary Spring.

Engaged at 4200 RPM and maxed at 7600 RPM. I tried to get rid of the bog by going to a stock red secondary spring. It didn't work, partly because of a lack oif lubricant.

Primary:
Weights-10AL
Spring-Polaris Blue

Secondary:
Helix-42/34
Spring-Polaris Red Spring (2nd Hole)
1/22/06
Changed back to stock.

Engagement is at 4200 RPM and max is at 8000 RPM. Runs out good, smooth with a little more power at 6000 RPM.

Primary:
Weights-10AL
Spring-Polaris Blue

Secondary:
Helix-36 Degree
Spring-Polaris Red (2nd Hole)

Changed out bushing in secondary, hope it helps with the bogging. Thinking it was sticking or binding in the secondary holding it in low gear.

Primary:
Weights-10AL (53.5 gram)
Spring-Polaris Blue

Secondary:
Helix-R32 (50/34)
Spring-Polaris Red

Man, the R32 did exactly what I thought it would, it held the secondary while the RPM's increase and then it dropped it in hard and she was lifting the skis for the next 30 yds. It really accellerated hard once it got through the bog. Next I think will be a set of 10M's in the primary to raise the engagment slightly. But for now I went back to the 42/34 helix, but I put the spring in the farthest preload setting. It really revs fast now!

With the pipes, I plan to run 9400 RPM. So I secured 3 sets of weights from a member of SF. He gave me two sets of 44's, one with more weight to the tip the other looking more like the stock 10AL's. He also gave me a set of 43.5's. So at this point, I'm going with the 44 gram weights with slow throw in. I got a new Polaris blue spring for the primary as well. Then in the secondary, I'll be running a Polaris silver/blue spring with a 42-34 Helix. She should snap pretty good in the mid range, I'm worried about the low end, but it is what it is. Also, cleaned up the clutches and replaced the clutch weight pins.

Primary:
Weights-A-1 (Custom ground to 44 grams)
Spring-Polaris Blue (New)

Secondary:
Helix-Aftermarket (42/34)
Spring-Polaris Sliver/Blue

Well, I need to adapt. I'm turning too many RPM. Also the primary is slamming in at engagement. So I'm going to check belt deflection and also after the season I may pick up the clutch tools and do clutch rebuild. This way I can also change the amount of gap between the belt and the sheeves. Or I may consider making the tools, we'll see. As far as new weights, I'm going to try and get some 47 gram weights or something close. This should lower my engagment slightly, and bring my RPM's on the top end way down, hopefully around 9200-9400. The secondary also needs some work, it isn't bacshifting well when at cruising speeds and I gun it. It will bog at about 7000 RPM and just sit. It really sucks. So I'll be going with a steeper first angle, so that R32 will come in handy. At a 52/34 angle it should solve that backshifting issue I'm having currently.
