My brother was watching the sled on E-bay. The Sled didn't get any bids as he was asking $580. He didn't have very good pictures and the sled was in the parts section. Also it had 7800 miles on it.

Then the guy reposted it and came down to $380. So I called my brother to tell him to watch it and talk to his new wife. He already had two sleds and she was trying to keep it that way. I told my brother I would go half in on it. He talked with her and she expressed some questions but felt it would be okay.

So he bid on the sled and got it for $380. Not too bad for a running sled in it's condition. So we each paid $190. We went to go pick the sled up 2 weeks later.

The guy we bought it from was a classic uper. He explained that he had just gotten his second drunk driving and needed to sell the sled and get some money for it. He also was in a dispute with his family about the house he was living in. His grandmother was going to simply sign the house over to him before she died, however the day before they were going to do it, she died. So now the family got involved and wanted compensation for the house before he could move in. So this was another reason why he needed to sell the sled. Really just a bad situation.

I've had the sled for a year now and it's been good to me after the rebuild. I put alot of work into it and it's paid off.
