Triple Heaven
Well, I bought the pipes off of ebay for $102. They had a dent in them that drove me nuts! Here's the thread I created on it.

So I started pulling it the classic way and ended up making it look worst, so I cut the whole section out and replaced it. As you can see there is already a new piece welded in there.


Using a Mig welder, didn't produce the best results, but it will work, a little grinding and bam.


Got both ends of the pipe welded back together here.


So I ground down the welds and had to reweld it in certain places.


Then I sanded on the welds that would be visible later to produce a good finish. Then applied a Hi-Temp paint and she looks like new, well, sort of. I would say it looks good enough for me.
