Getting Sideways Motorsports
Getting Sideways Motorsports, aka GS Motorsports, started back in the late 80's with a few friends. It was just a name I made up while we played around at the stock car races, car shows, mud races, and just goofing off around the house in the fields and doing burnouts on the road. Little did I know it was a name I would keep around and introduce to the public.

In a nutshell GS Motorsports is about having fun doing anything related to the automobile.

I have been involved in Dirt track stock car racing, Asphalt stock car racing, Mud racing, Drag racing, Show cars, and halftime entertainment at Freedom Raceway which includes Burnout compititions, Power Wheels races, Pepsi Races, Truck Races, Jalopy car races and pretty much anything that will entertain the crowd.

The 2006 season will be a busy year so I hope to see everyone out there at some of the events. There are a few special events planned also including our first annual St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Truck Blessing and Mud Run. We hope to have a few "suprise" guests with us at this event.
