MY RIDES

On this page you will find a rundown of the current cars and trucks in my stable. Some pics are before, some are during and some are after construction. You may even find one or two that are action shots. Enjoy.

1994 Plymouth Acclaim "Road Runner"

This is my newest addition.
I bought it and with alot of help from some of the fellow drivers in the class, we got it up and going and ready to race for Farmersvilles race on Sept 17th.
I took a heat win and was leading the feature when a CV shaft let loose. Oh well I know I'll have a ton of fun next year racing with everyone.

2001 Ford Explorer "Titanic"

This is my daily driver and pace truck at Freedom Raceway.
I also use this truck to dirt drag race and for dB Bass off compititions. I have one 1st and one 2nd at Freedom in the dirt drags and a current best is 132.1 dB with one 12" sub and one 800 watt amp at the bass off. I have hit higher but was not at an event so it doesn't count for much.
She finds herself off road every now and then, but sticks mostly to the paved roads.
Now you may be wondering where the name "Titanic" came from?
Well while out off roading back in March with the SMUDDERS, I found a nice frozen patch of water. Well it so happens my truck will break through 3"-4" of ice. After it started breaking through the lights went black because they were under 4' of water, so I did what anyone would do....I stood on it!
Well it made it through but did suffer some cosmetic damage and broken tranny lines. But she is all better....for now.

1985 Ford Mustang GT

Not much on this old girl.
Bought it to drag race and have only run it in burnout compititions so far.
We will see what winter of 06-07 brings for this car. Will hopefully see the drag strip in 07.

1991 Chevy Blazer "Some Assembly Required"

This truck was bought after our July 16th Mud Run.
I am mainly going to use it for bogs only.
It currently sits on 36.5" tires but a lift, 44"s and perhaps a new body are in the works for 2007. I want to keep it street legal.
The name? Well it is in pretty rough shape so there will be some assembly required to get it going for next season.
So far I have only wheeled it in Freedoms "Mud Puppy" bog but am looking at running it at Farmersvilles bog on Sept 17th.

1993 Ford Explorer "Lightning"

This truck was bought to run dry off road coarses and stock mud bogs.
It was painted up to look like the Lightning car from the movie CARS.
It was kind of a joke but turned out pretty good and makes a nice PR piece.
It was scheduled to run at WCIS but it rained out. Next show will be Freedom Sept 10th and Farmersville Sept 17th.

1987 Ford F-150 "Winter Beater"

This was my first mud truck bought for the 2006 season and it still looks pretty much the same. I havent had a chance to run it yet, but did get it fired up and drove it around the race track a few times.
The next couple weeks I will be working on it and most likely selling it.

1984 Ford F-150

No pics yet but this will be my tow truck.
It is a short box 2wd that had a 302 in it.
Well there is no replacement for displacement so I bought a 1970 Lincoln and stuffed the 460 down into it.
This truck two has been on the back burner and will be finished up before the snow flies.
199? Ford Tempo Jalopy Car "Jolly Roger"
"
This will be my Jalopy car for the remainder of the 2006 season.
I had the chance to wheel it around a few weeks ago and had a blast.
Next season I will be building a new car.
I will be racing it at Freedom Sept 10th and Farmersville Sept 17th, if it is still running.....
