This is what the Sled looked like when it first arrived. After being trailered about 250Km uncovered on slushy warm highways. As you can see the seat was pretty much torn to bits, the whole sled was covered in leaves, grass, oil, and sand. This was on January 27 2005.

The first thing we did was take it to the car wash and give it a good scrubing. A little water and soap can go a long way.

We now got into the real wrench work. we had to change the crank case seals which intailed removing the engine from the sled. It sounds easy but it actually took two weekends just to get the engine out. then again that also included waiting for a special clutch puller to come in. in all it took about 5 weeks to get all the work on the engine done. We changed all the seals and gaskets, and rebuilt the fuel pump. Changed all the fuel lines, installed a im-line prime. we also cleaned everything in a parts washer. The person that i bought it from started working on it and never finished it so it has new pistons, rings, and it was howned.

We also painted the pipe and recovered the seat. I polished the tank a bit too.

This Is what it looked like when we were done with it last year.

Since the End of the 04-05 season i have also detailed the engine, and added some new decals. I will post pics as soon as i get them.
