Dave's Sled Shed
2003 XC 600 SP


I picked up this sled in Wisconsin from a friend of a member of HardCore Sledder forums on October 9th, 2006. It's an '03 XC 600 SP that had approximately 3,300 miles on it.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to change, but one of the first things will be to extend the track to 136", lower the windsheild, add the handgaurds, and get rid of the yellow. After that, I'm not sure what will happen to it. I'm sure I'll think of something.

I have not yet extended to 136" due to a slight accident last season that ruined my trip to the SF Group Ride. I'm really hoping that this season goes better for me.

I still haven't really done much to the sled. I've broken more than I had planned to change. Three windshields, the hood, a shock, trailing arm, etc. Since I started working nights again, I don't have a lot of free time to actually work on the sled. I am really hoping to get the track extended this season. We'll have to see how it goes.
